2. Creator Responsibility
Users, creators, authors, curators, publishers, and community administrators are responsible for ensuring that content they submit or publish on Vidyame is lawful and authorized.
Creators should only submit content that is:
- Their own original work
- Public domain
- Properly licensed
- Used with permission
- Used under a lawful exception
- Submitted with proper attribution and context
Creators may be asked to provide ownership, licensing, permission, or source information.
3. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on Vidyame uses your copyrighted work without permission, you may submit a copyright removal request.
Your request should include:
- Your full name
- Your organization name, if applicable
- Your contact information
- A description of the copyrighted work
- A link or clear identification of the Vidyame content you believe is infringing
- A link or copy of the original copyrighted work, if available
- A statement explaining why you believe the use is unauthorized
- A statement that the information you provide is accurate
- A statement that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner

4. What Vidyame May Do After Receiving a Report
After receiving a copyright report, Vidyame may review the request and take appropriate action.
Actions may include:
- Asking for more information
- Temporarily restricting access to the reported content
- Removing the reported content
- Notifying the user who uploaded the content
- Requesting proof of ownership or permission
- Disabling repeat uploads of the same content
- Restricting creator publishing privileges
- Suspending or terminating accounts for repeated infringement
Vidyame may reject incomplete, unclear, abusive, fraudulent, or unsupported claims.
5. Appeals and Counter-Requests
If your content was removed or restricted because of a copyright report and you believe the claim was made in error, you may submit an appeal.
Your appeal should explain why the content should be restored.
Possible reasons may include:
- You own the content
- You have permission to use the content
- The content is public domain
- The use is legally permitted
- The reported material was misidentified
- The claim is fraudulent or mistaken
- The content is original or substantially different

6. Repeat Infringement
Vidyame may take stronger action against users who repeatedly upload unauthorized content.
Repeat infringement may result in:

- Loss of publishing privileges
- Loss of monetization eligibility
- Account suspension
- Account termination
- Community restrictions
- Legal action where appropriate
Vidyame may also restrict attempts to re-upload content that was previously removed for copyright reasons.
7. False or Abusive Claims
Copyright reporting tools must be used responsibly.
Do not submit false, misleading, abusive, or bad-faith copyright claims.
False claims may harm creators and may result in account restrictions, loss of reporting privileges, or legal consequences.
Likewise, users should not file false appeals or misrepresent ownership, permission, public-domain status, or licensing rights.
8. Public Domain and Fair Use
Vidyame may host public-domain content and content used for education, commentary, criticism, scholarship, or other legally permitted purposes.
However, whether a use is legally permitted depends on the facts and applicable law.
